This is a simple list of products that are found at Black Mountain Cycles.  We have access to many more products including Velo Orange’s complete product list, Brooks saddles; Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo components; Honjo hand-made fenders, Jandd racks and bags, Planet Bike fenders and lights… 

Bruce Gordon Cycles – Bruce Gordon’s BLT (Basic Loaded Touring) frameset represents 30 years of frame building experience wrapped in an affordably priced package complete with a set of handmade in Petaluma, world-renowned Bruce Gordon racks.  Only one 56cm available as either a built up bike or frameset package.

Niner Bikes – All 29” wheels, all the time.  Very limited stock, but we have access to any of Niner’s frames.  Big wheels keep on rolling…

Surly – We typically have a selection of Surly Long Haul Truckers and Cross-Checks complete bikes.  Simple, affordable, clean bikes that are capable of many types of riding.  From their intended purpose of touring or ‘cross riding, these bikes are also great bikes for commuting or simply riding on the road if you are looking for a more comfortable, longer wheelbase bike.

White Industries – Our favorite hubs come from just over the hill in Petaluma, CA.  White Industries also has some great cranksets and bottom brackets. 

Paul Components – Made in Chico, CA, Paul’s selection is as diverse as your need demands.

Phil Wood – The standard in smooth rolling, long-lived, extreme duty hubs and bottom brackets. 

Velocity Rims – Very wide selection of rims for any application. 

Swobo clothing:  makers of great merino wool and blended jerseys.

Tubus – Simple, cleanly designed, lightweight, rugged touring or commuting racks.

Ortlieb – The standard in water-proof touring panniers. 

Continental – Touring and road tires.  Our favorite road tire is the Grand Prix 4-Season in size 28. 

Schwalbe – Marathon and Marathon Plus tires in many sizes are always in stock.

Wilderness Trail Bikes – Great off-road tires, great saddles.  We have a selection of our favorite tires and saddles from WTB.
